Photograph one object at a time. Include one honest detail: grain, edge, join or glaze. Avoid styling that disguises scale or function.

LIGHT / One quiet direction

Use soft side light and retain shadow detail. Keep whites neutral; no amber filters, crushed blacks or artificial color casts.

COMPOSITION / Leave room
